Sigma Poker Tour Sets its Sights on Sao Paulo
The new SiGMA Poker Tour has arrived, announcing its first stop in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 9 to 14 April. Players and guests will have a five-star experience at the prestigious Monte Carlo Poker Club and the Hilton Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil. SPT Brazil features five events, including a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event and South America’s first The Hendon Mob Championship event.
The SiGMA Poker Tour is an expertly crafted series of live poker events offering top-tier poker action and premium networking opportunities. It is designed to connect gaming professionals from around the globe and bring the poker community closer to the iGaming industry.
The new poker tour was announced at SiGMA Malta at a special press conference at the Phoenicia Hotel in November 2024. The SiGMA Poker Tour was founded by Ivonne Montaleagre, founder of the Battle of Malta and Malta Poker Festival, who has a proven track record of launching new live poker projects to great success.

The Hendon Mob LATAM Championship
After a successful partnership with Ivonne and the Malta Poker Festival for over eight years, The Hendon Mob is pleased to announce a special partnership with SPT. This partnership will see the first-ever THMC event in Latin America—The Hendon Mob LATAM Championship—play out at SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil, 12th—13th April.
The THM LATAM Championship, which has a $250 buy-in, kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th. Players start with 25,000 chips and play 30-minute levels on both days. Re-entry is unlimited and available for the first 10 levels on Day 1.

2025 THM LATAM Championship Winner to be Awarded Cape Town Million Package
The Hendon Mob has partnered with Sunbet Poker Tour by MJPT to offer all 2025 THMC winners a package to the THMC Cape Town Million later this year.
The Cape Town Million 2025 package is worth approximately $2,000. It includes seven nights of accommodation, transfers to the venue (flights not included), and a THMC Cape Town Million ticket worth R8,000. The full details of the promotion will be announced soon.
$250,000 Guaranteed SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil Main Event
The headlining event of the SPT Brazil debut is the Main Event, which boasts a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event carries a buy-in of $770. However, several Main Event satellites are available leading up to each flight, allowing players to win their seats for a fraction of the cost.
Players begin with 50,000 chips on each of the five available Day 1s and play 40-minute levels except for Day 1C and 1E, which are 20-minute turbo flights. Players may re-enter a maximum of two times per flight with late registration open for 10 levels.
Aside from the THMC and Main Event, SPT Brazil also features a SiGMA DIVAS $150 ladies event, a $330 Mystery Bounty event, and a $150 Last Chance. SPT brand ambassadors John Arne Riise, Lukas Robinson, Drea Karlsen, and JonVlogs will be on hand and in the fields. The schedule also includes a meet-and-greet with the team and several other networking opportunities.
