Season Ending Poker Party for The Festival in Bratislava Revealed

As in previous years, the Festival Series will close out 2024 with a colossal poker festival at the prestigious Banco Casino Bratislava. The Festival in Bratislava runs from November 18th to 24th, featuring a packed 54-event schedule. Headlining events include The Hendon Mob Championship, which kicks things off, a Mixed Games Main Event, Mystery Bounty, High Rollers, cash games, casino tournaments, and a €500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

The Festival Series has been sweeping across Europe, providing memorable player experiences on and off the felt. The team at The Festival doesn’t just focus on poker. They also invest time in the destination, providing locally based activities and hospitality. The Festival is the first live circuit to run roulette, blackjack, and sportsbook tournaments parallel to poker. Players will also enjoy various activities outside the poker room, including player parties, nightlife, fine dining, and local tours.

This will be the fourth year that The Festival Series caps off a strong year at Banco Casino Bratislava. Over €1,300,000 has been awarded in the three previous Main Events, with the 2022 Main Event attracting a field of 1,271 entries and setting a record for the largest prize ever handed out in Slovakian poker history.

The Festival in Bratislava €500,000 Guaranteed Main Event

The highlight of The Festival in Bratislava is the Main Event, which features six starting flights and numerous satellites. The Main Event has a €550 buy-in and a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players start with 30,000 chips and play 40-minute levels on Day 1. Day 1F is a turbo flight with 20-minute levels. Players may re-enter up to two times each flight.

Gabriel Rymar walked away with €80,000 after topping a field of 1,025 last November in Banco Casino. It was Michel Molenaar‘s victory over a field of 1,271 that set a record in Slovakia in 2022 and earned the Dutch star €126,650. Martin Mauthner won the first edition of The Festival Series in Bratislava.

The Festival in Bratislava Key Events

The Hendon Mob Championship

Fresh off a European record-setting THMC event at The Festival in Rozvadov and the upcoming Festival in Malta series at Portomaso Casino, THMC is set to start the party in Bratislava with a €250 four-day, three-starting-flight event beginning on November 18th.

The €225+25 event gives players 30,000 chips to start and plays 30-minute levels. Unlimited re-entry is available for ten levels on Day 1. Each flight begins at 13:00 local time, with Day 1B on the 19th and Day 1C on the 20th. Day 2 plays down to a winner with 45-minute levels and cards in the air at 16:00.

To sweeten the pot, the winner will receive a custom trophy and THMC badge, but all THMC winners in 2024 will join us in South Africa for the THMC Cape Town Million. Click here for full details.

Qualify Online for The Festival Series

Many online poker sites offer satellite qualification for The Festival Series. Players can win an entry to the €550 Main Event, secure hotel accommodation, and receive a hospitality package.
