Davies, Foxen, Schindler Enter Top 10 of PokerGO Tour Presented By Guaranteed Rate Leaderboard
The 2021 Poker Masters wrapped up on Sunday, with Michael Addamo winning the coveted Purple Jacket, but it was a trio of players making the move into the top 10 of the leaderboard that won the headlines from the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate. Seth Davies, Alex Foxen, and Jake Schindler are now in the top 10 entering the Super High Roller.

Of the three, Davies sits the highest. He’s in eighth place with 1,323 points. Prior to the 2021 Poker Masters, Davies cashed four times at the Super High Roller Series Europe, including winning Event #8: $50,000 Short Deck for $435,400 and 261 points. From his four cashes as Super High Roller Series Europe, Davies won $1,338,400 and picked up 803 points. At the 2021 Poker Masters, Davies finished second to Mikita Badziakouski in Event #10: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $228,000 and 137 points.
Sitting with 1,317 points after the Poker Masters, Foxen is now in ninth place on the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate leaderboard. Foxen’s 2021 Poker Masters saw him cash three times for $722,250 and 294 points. He took seventh place in Event #8: $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em, fourth place in Event #11: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em, and third place in Event #12: $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
Schindler had a pair of in-the-money results at Super High Roller Series Europe, winning $622,600 and earning 374 points combined. He then cashed three times at the 2021 Poker Masters, winning another $161,000 and adding 161 points to his total. Schindler is now 10th on the leaderboard with 1,284 points.
The addition of Davies, Foxen, and Schindler to the top 10 of the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate leaderboard knocked Andrew Moreno, Clayton Maguire, and Toby Lewis out of the top 10.
Michael Addamo Wins 2021 Poker Masters Purple Jacket
Australian poker star Michael Addamo is the latest winner of the Poker Masters Purple Jacket. Addamo won the final two events of the 12-event series for a combined $1.84 million. The two victories, first in Event #11: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $680,000 and then in Event #12: $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $1.16 million, earned Addamo 808 leaderboard points and allowed him to top all competitors. For doing so, Addamo was crowned the 2021 Poker Masters champion, walking away wearing the Purple Jacket and winning an additional $50,000 in prize money.
Also winning events at the 2021 Poker Masters were Daniel Negreanu and Stephen Chidwick. Negreanu won Event #5: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $178,200. Chidwick won Event #7: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $183,600.
Super High Roller Bowl Coming Up September 27-29
The sixth edition of the Super High Roller Bowl hits the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas starting September 27. The $300,000 buy-in event is set to attract some of the biggest names in the game as they battle for millions of dollars, and the field is already beginning to fill up.
The three-day Super High Roller Bowl will be live streamed on PokerGO and the event is part of the PokerGO Tour presented by Guaranteed Rate. The winner will join Brian Rast, Rainer Kempe, Christoph Vogelsang, Justin Bonomo, and Isaac Haxton as a winner of the Super High Roller Bowl.
