CAPT Million Caps Off Big Month of European Poker Action in November
As the end of the year draws closer and the GPI Player of the Year races tighten up, there are some massive poker events throughout Europe in November. Grinders and flag hunters will find action in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, England, Belgium, and a gigantic festival throughout Austria culminated in Baden.
The Festival in Bratislava (€500k GTD Main), EAPT Rozvadov (€250k GTD Main), GUKPT Grand Final (£250k GTD), and CPS Circus Series Namur (€750k Main Event) to name a few. The CAPT Million (€1M GTD Main) is capping it all off.
The Festival in Bratislava (Nov 18-24)
As in previous years, the Festival Series will close out 2024 with a colossal poker festival at the prestigious Banco Casino Bratislava. The Festival in Bratislava runs from November 18th to 24th, featuring a packed 54-event schedule. Headlining events include The Hendon Mob Championship, which kicks things off, a Mixed Games Main Event, Mystery Bounty, High Rollers, cash games, casino tournaments, and a €500,000 guaranteed Main Event.
EA Poker Tour Rozvadov (Nov 19-25)
The EAPT is returning to King’s Casino Rozvadov for the second time after a successful debut in 2023. The week-long festival goes from November 19th to 25th featuring 13 trophy tournaments with a total guarantee of over €490,000, including €250,000 guaranteed prize pool in the Main Event. Last year’s Main Event attracted 600 entries and awarded a top prize of €81,500 to a player who won one of the many satellites for just €90.
GUKPT Grand Final (Nov 20-Dec 1)
The dates and a new venue for the 2024 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Grand Final have been announced. With ‘The Vic’ undergoing renovations, the Grand Final will be played in Luton at the Grosvenor G Casino on Park Street West. More than £550,000 is up for grabs in guaranteed prize pools across the key events from November 20th to December 1st. The £250,000 guaranteed Main Event headlines the festival.
CAPT Million Baden (Nov 21-Dec 2)
The biggest poker tournament in Austria is less than a month away, and players are already qualifying for Day 2 across the country. The event will be closed out at Casino Baden from November 21st to December 2nd, but players can qualify for Day 2 in various other locations, such as Bregenz, Graz, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg, Velden, and Wien.
CAPT Million has a buy-in of €550 and boasts a whopping €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Along with the Main Event, many satellites are offered with cash games and side events running as well. There is a €2,200 Mystery Bounty event on November 26th and three other side events on the final days of the series, including a €230 Mini CAPT Million and two more lower buy-in bounty events.
