Winter Poker Fest Next Up At Canterbury Park

If you need a cure for the winter blues, Canterbury Park has an announcement for you. The 2023 Winter Poker Fest is less than a month away at the Shakopee, Minnesota poker room. The festival runs from February 7th through to the 19th featuring eight trophy events.

The headline event of the Winter Poker Fest is the $1,110 Main Event. The first of three Day 1 starting flights begins on February 16th. Day 1B is on the 17th followed by Day 1C on the 18th. All Day 1 survivors will return on the 19th to play down to a winner. Players start with 30,000 chips and 40-minute levels. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are available until the start of Level 13.

Some of the other trophy events include a $400 Mystery Bounty to kick things off, a Seniors event, a Tag Team, HORSE, Black Chip Bounty, Pot Limit Omaha, and a Last Chance Double Stack. There are many options to win your way into some of the events leading up to the festival. There will be one $1,110 NLH Main Event seat added to all Saturday $250 & $350 Deep Stack NLH events starting from January 14 – February 4. The full satellite schedule can be found here.
