Falling In (Poker) Love Again
After so many years it is safe to say that who does not know the location of Amsterdam, he/she is most likely not born yet. Amsterdam is a town that never sleeps, with their own casino and in 1991 they created a special place for poker players like us.
Now, 20 years later, it is time to celebrate this anniversary. Many of us will remember the events and we all know that Holland Casino is the only casino in the world that have puts in more than € 80.000 extra prize money into their prize pools for many years! That, combined with the great service and friendly employees makes Holland Casino Amsterdam a special poker place.
This year, Holland Casino have increased their service and it’s better than ever with scheduled events, upgraded facilities, more media attention and televised events! The party starts at November 5th with a €1500 NLHE Event and an estimated prize pool of €500.000. But that’s not all! There is more! What do you think about this?
- 8 days of poker and 9 different events
- More than € 3 million prize money
- A special televised € 10.000 NLHE VIP Event (48 players max)
- Televised € 5.000 NLHE Main Event (360 players max)
- PLO / NLHE / Rebuy / Turbo Events and satellites

I will play the Main Event myself and most likely also a few side events. But most of all I would like to invite friends and relatives to come to Amsterdam. Let’s have a drink in the beautiful Lido Club (inside the casino) to celebrate this HC 20 year anniversary and my 25 year anniversary of The Flying Dutchman as the player. Click the link for more information. Over the years I have spend many hours at the tables and now it’s time to party. We will have a DJ spinning the turntables and there will be other live entertainment as well. The only thing you need to bring is your smile.
I am excited about this years MCOP and I hope to see you at the bar or at one of the final tables.
