The further you climb these standard levels, the higher your rakeback percentage. Blue-level players, for example, can expect 10% takebacks, while black-level participants earn 25% back as reward points.

To level up, players must unlock five chests or trunks within 28 consecutive days. Their progress bar will reset if they do not accumulate enough points to unlock at least one chest in this period. However, some rewards will still be available, so all is not lost.

A Practical Example Of How Levels Work

Follow this example to see how the PokerStars Rewards level system works for new players:

• You begin your earnings by playing on PokerStars and accumulating 4,000 Reward Points. This unlocks the first Blue Chest, which contains a € 2 bonus. You can then continue playing, knowing that for every 4,000 Reward Points, you unlock an additional Blue Chest.
• You will move up to the Bronze tier once you have unlocked five Blue Chests within 28 consecutive days.
• Accumulating the following 8,000 Reward Points will unlock the first Bronze Chest, which contains a € 5 bonus.

This process continues as players accumulate points, unlock chests and level up further.

How Players Earn Rewards Points

Reward Points are used by players to increase the levels and are earned based on the type of game played. The points are earned based on the following information:

• By participating in a Spin & Go with a buy-in of €10 (€9.20 + €0.80 rake), you will get 160 Reward Points.
• In a Zoom Cash Game session, generating €10 in rake earns you 2,000 Reward Points.
• In a normal Cash Game session, generating €10 in rake will earn you 1,200 Reward Points.
• By participating in an MTT with a buy-in of €100 (€90 + €10 rake), you will accumulate 450 Reward Points.

The PokerStars Rewards VIP Levels: Select and Select+ 

The Select and Select+ levels are the top tiers among the PokerStars Rewards program, reserved for Spin & Go players. These levels offer exclusive benefits, including high rakeback and special promotions.

Rakeback for VIP levels

Spin & Go players with buy-ins of €10 or more will receive 40% rakeback on the Select level and 45% on the Select+ level. For buy-ins of €5 or less and Zoom cash games, rakeback is 25% for both levels. For MTT tournaments, rakeback is 6%, while for other games such as cash games and Sit & Go’s, it is 15%.
