Cure the Summer in Vegas hangover in stunning Liechtenstein with The Hendon Mob Summer Championship at the fabulous Grand Casino Liechtenstein, running from August 14th to 18th. The festival features five THM trophy events, including a CHF100,000 guaranteed THM Summer Championship Main Event.
Grand Casino Liechtenstein has become a welcomed second home for The Hendon Mob Championship, set to host the third THMC festival in the last 13 months. After a successful debut last June and a Winter Championship earlier this year, we’re coming back in the heat of the summer.
Not only will the eventual champion of the THM Summer Championship walk away with a custom THMC trophy and a top share of the prize money, but all 2024 THMC Main Event winners will also have the opportunity to join us in South Africa later this year.
CHF100,000 GTD THM Summer Championship Aug 15- 18
The Hendon Mob Summer Championship Main Event starts Thursday, August 15th, at 6 pm local time. It’s the first of five Day 1 qualifying flights leading up to the final day, on August 18th. The event features a CHF300 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of CHF100,000.
Players will start with 40,000 chips, and each Day 1 will play 30-minute levels, except for the Day 1E Turbo flight, which will have 15-minute levels. Late registration remains open until the end of Level 8 for each flight, and players may re-enter up to two times per flight. There are satellites for Day 1A and Day 1B, with two tickets guaranteed for each.
2024 THMC Summer Championship Winner to be Awarded Cape Town Million Package
The Hendon Mob has partnered with Sunbet Poker Tour by MJPT to offer the 2024 Hendon Mob Championship winners a package to the THMC Cape Town Million later this year.
The Cape Town Million 2024 package is worth approximately $2,000. It includes seven nights of accommodation, transfers to the venue (flights not included), and a THMC Cape Town Million ticket worth R8,000. Full details of the promotion can be found here.
At the CHF150,000 guarantee-smashing THM Winter Championship Powered by UDSO earlier this year, Hermann Schweiger took home CHF30,000 for the win and will join us in Cape Town this fall. Schweiger is among nine players who have been awarded the package throughout 2024.
THM Summer Championship Side Events
The action begins on Wednesday, August 14th, with the CHF120 Opener event boasting a CHF5,000 guarantee. A CHF660 High Roller is on Friday evening, followed by a CHF6,000 guaranteed Freezeout event on Saturday with a CHF150 buy-in. The festival ends on Sunday with Day 2 of the Main Event and a CHF140 Closer with a final CHF6,000 guaranteed.
