All Treat No Trick with the Malta Poker Festival Autumn Schedule
It’s that time of the year again, and we’re excited to share the unveiling of the 2024 Autumn Edition of the Malta Poker Festival. One of the best annual poker festivals on the planet will return to the Portomaso Casino from October 27th to November 4th.
This year’s MPF Autumn sees the return of all the fan-favourite events, including The Hendon Mob Championship, LuxonPay Mystery Bounty, UDSO Highroller, APAT Maltese Championship, and always popular Seniors and Ladies events. The festival also sees new editions, including a Super Highroller hosted by Lukas Robinson and the MPF 8-Game.
Of course, the headline event, the MPF Grand Event, highlights the schedule with four days of play, extra Day 1s and a luscious €500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The Hendon Mob Championship Returns Home
The Hendon Mob Championship is a premier side event at the Malta Poker Festival going in its sixth year. MPF is the series that launched THMC back in 2018. THMC Malta will begin with Day 1 on October 30th at 7 pm local. The event carries a €250 buyin, with a custom THMC trophy for the champ and a custom THMC flag for anyone who makes the money.
Players start with 30,000 chips and play 30-minute levels. Late registration is open for the first ten levels, and unlimited re-entries are permitted. Players who find a bag on Day 1 will return on Halloween afternoon to play a spooky Day 2 down to a winner.
2024 THMC Malta Autumn Championship Winner to be Awarded Cape Town Million Package
The Hendon Mob has partnered with Sunbet Poker Tour by MJPT to offer the 2024 Hendon Mob Championship winners a package to the THMC Cape Town Million later this year. The winner of the THMC event at this year’s MPF Autumn will have the chance to join us in Cape Town, South Africa, at the end of November. This is likely to be the final seat awarded to the prestigious championship.
The Cape Town Million 2024 package is worth approximately $2,000. It includes seven nights of accommodation, transfers to the venue (flights not included), and a THMC Cape Town Million ticket worth R8,000. Full details of the promotion can be found here.
€500,000 Guaranteed MPF Grand Event
The Malta Poker Festival has always brought players a major festival with a fitting main event. The MPF Grand Event boasts a €500,000 guarantee with a buyin of €550. Eight Day 1 starting flights begin on Sunday, October 27th, with satellites running from October 26th.
Players who arrive to play Day 1A will receive a bonus, as the buy-in is reduced to €450 for this flight only.
Players start with 50,000 chips and play 40-minute levels for Day 1A/B/C/D/E/F. Day 1G/H are turbo flights with 20-minute levels. Late registration is open for the first ten levels, and two re-entries are permitted.
New Events Highlight Exciting MFP Autumn Schedule
The team at MPF and Portomaso have always brought a jam-packed schedule with buy-ins and poker variations to feed any recreational or poker grinder. A little more has been added this year to create even more buzz. After a smashing debut last year, the LuxonPay Mystery Bounty event is back on its Friday kick-off.
Mixed games enthusiasts will also have their fill with Sviten Special, HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, and the first MPF 8-Game event.
Another new event is the two-day €2500 Super Highroller, hosted by content creator Lukas Robinson. UDSO is back hosting the €1100 Highroller and the popular mainstays of the MPF, which include Bounty Hunter Days events, Betsson One Bullet, and a Halloween Special Edition featuring a prize for the best costume.
